My favorite track by Heavy D and the Boyz is this cover of  Third World’s hit “Now That We Found Love”.

And this is another favorite of mine.

Ironically I am not a big fan of Hip Hop music but I really enjoyed Heavy’s performances. I also enjoyed his acting on episodes of “Living Single” and a Different World”

This is a clip of Heavy,  birth name Dwight Arrington Myers , in an episode of the sitcom “A Different World.”  And ironically I had just seen him in a cameo role in “Tower Heist” last weekend at the movies.

R.I.P. Dwight and thank you so very very much for the many, many hours of entertainment you have provided in the past and will continue to provide for all time with your audio and video recordings.

My Condolences to the family of Mr. Myers.
