This collection is two discs of classic Motown Christmas carols put together under the supervision of Harry Weinger.
Normally I would not consider yet another Motown collection because I have most of the artist’s holiday music already. But a still small voice told me to go for it when I saw it near the check-out line at Best Buy earlier this week.
When I got home and fought to get the cellophane off to read the cd insert materials I saw the name Harry Weinger.
Mr. Weinger is one of my favorite people in the entire world due to his care and concern and distribution of tunes from the Motown Vault over the past few decades. Mr Weinger has also been instrumental in some reissues that deserved to see the light of day – including but not limited to the entire Motown output of the late great Eddie Kendricks! Whenever I see Mr. Weinger’s name on a product I know it means quality. 
This collection is definitely worth every penny. And besides it is always nice to have some of the best of the best in one place for handy listening. I have ripped this for my Holiday Ipod and the cds will remain in my car from now until New Years Day!
